Our No-Nonsense Privacy Policy
We build digital products and fix broken ones. We don't care about tracking your every move across the internet. That's not what the web was created for. Here is exactly how we handle your data at Ruffle Design Pty Ltd.
1. No Cookies, No Creeping
We don't use cookies to track you on our site. We only know what you explicitly tell us when you fill out a form or buy a product from us.
2. The Data We Actually Collect
When you work with us, you give us:
- — The basics: Your name, email, and company.
- — The project details: URLs, Figma links, or test logins so we can actually do the work.
3. Where Your Data Goes
We don't build custom servers to hoard your info. We use secure, industry-standard tools to run our business:
- — Payments (Stripe): When you pay us, it goes securely through Stripe. We never see, touch, or store your credit card details.
- — Website Hosting (Netlify): This is just what keeps our website online.
- — Emails (Mailerlite): If you give us your email, it goes here so we can send your deliverables or occasional marketing emails. You can unsubscribe in one click whenever you want.
- — Project Work (Notion): All the data you give us for a Kinetic Teardown (links, passwords, friction scores) is organized and stored securely in our private Notion workspace.
- — Teardown Videos (YouTube/Loom): We upload your teardown walkthrough as a private video on YouTube or Loom depending on format/delivery requirements. Only people with the exact link and password can see it. (If your company policy blocks YouTube, just tell us, and we'll send it another way).
4. Keeping Things Confidential
Any test credentials, Figma files, or proprietary app flows you share with us are strictly used to do the job you paid for. We don’t share them, sell them, or use them for anything else.
5. Want Your Data Gone?
If you want us to delete your test credentials or wipe your project info from our Notion after the job is done, just email us. We’ll nuke it.
Our No-Nonsense Terms of Service
When you buy a Kinetic Teardown or work with us at Ruffle Design, here are the ground rules.
1. What You Are Buying
You are paying us to tear down your digital product and tell you exactly where the UI and product design architecture is fighting your users. We deliver a private video walkthrough and an actionable list of potential fixes, including supporting data, in Notion.
2. The 24-Hour Promise
We promise a 24-hour turnaround for our Kinetic Teardowns. That clock only ticks if we can actually access your stuff and payment clears. If you give us a broken URL, a Figma file with the wrong permissions, or test credentials that don't work, the clock pauses until you give us the right access.
3. The Money-Back Guarantee
This one is simple: if we audit your submitted flow and honestly cannot find a single structural fix or point of friction to improve, we will refund your money in full. This guarantee doesn’t extend to the 24-hour promise above given the potential for moving parts beyond our control.
4. Who Owns What
- — Your Stuff: You own your product, your code, your designs, and your brand.
- — Our Stuff: We own the framework and the methodology we use to run the diagnostic on your app/product/site.
- — The Handover: The roadmap and video we give you are yours to keep, share with your dev team, and use to make your product better.
5. Our Liability (The Reality Check)
We are giving you a highly targeted, surgical blueprint to fix user friction. But what you do with that blueprint is up to you. We don't guarantee that implementing our fixes will magically double your revenue overnight or prevent your dev team from breaking something else. You implement our advice at your own discretion.
6. The Legal Stuff
Ruffle Design Pty Ltd is an Australian company. If we ever get into an unresolvable disagreement (which we won't, because we communicate like adults), the laws of Western Australia will apply.
